Five For Friday: Video Style

I'm linking up with Doodle Bugs' 5 For Friday to share five photos of our week!  I am trying a new twist, and posting sort videos instead of photos!  I used an app called Vine.  It's like Instagram but with 7 second videos.  I know you are probably thinking, "ANOTHER SOCIAL MEDIA APP???!!!"  I kind of think that too, but I am enjoying using it to capture moments in the classroom to send to the parents, or to show little clips on my blog.  :)

This is a little sight word game I made out of popsicle sticks and french fry containers.

Sooo maybe I baked my first cake this week...I am going to post this weekend how it turned out!

Sunday, I got to see Mumford and Sons with one of my besties!

This is Mr. Crabby Pants.  He is not mine.  He is huge.  I am scared of him.

Friday was National Doughnut Day!

  1. I love that you used a paper clip to test your cake!

  2. I love your little videos! That cake looks yummy!

  3. I love the videos idea!
And I love the french fry idea! How cute!

  5. HAHAHAHAHA!!! A paperclip to check to see if your cake is done?!!! I'm dying laughing!!! :) :)

  6. You should post these vines all the time! They were so much fun! I was dying with the cake test! That is something that I would totally do! I am the worst at baking! Can't wait to see the donut video! You should add in a jumping video vine next time since that's your signature move!

  9. My daughter is obsessed with Vine Michelle...Hey I gave you a shout out on my blog - you will get a little laugh from it I'm sure. Have a great weekend.

  10. I love the videos! What fun! I love baking and have used a fork to test my cake but I think I like the paper clip better. I don't know if this will help but if the cake jiggles when you move the pan, it needs more time. The french fry game was cute and also addresses fine motor. Great idea, I'm sure they loved it!

  11. I just love your remind me of me when I was younger...especially the baking thing (I don't know why I'm saying "younger" because I still can't cook or bake :) I've been a 2nd-4th grade teacher for the past several years but I'm twisting things up a bit and moving to kinder next year. People think I'm crazy but I am very excited! I'll definitely need all your support and ideas though so thanks for sharing!
