Free Vegetable Emergent Reader

I know teachers out there LOVE freebies!  I want to make it a goal to make something FREE each time I make something to sell.  I just finished my Kindergarten Farm Unit, and now I am currently working on a unit for crops and gardening!  Here is a free emergent reader all about vegetables!  Head over to my TPT store to pick it up!

This reader has 8 pages of reading, and follows the linguistic pattern: I see the ______.  I use plenty of sight words and color words that the students will be familiar with!  The clip art is in black and white so they can color the pictures too!  When I read with the students, we all read together and "choral read."  We take our yellow crayon and "highlight" all of the sight words that they can find!  They enjoy exploring new books and also re-reading so they can gain confidence!  I hope you can use this with your students!  Let me know what you think! :)
